The Why
The Name
Congolia is a name my late father gave me when I was very young. It was private — held quietly for most of my life. When I sat down to name what I was building here, it was the only name that felt true enough.I grew up on a farm. We grew our own food. We learned early that things don't come from shelves — they come from soil, from work, from understanding where you actually are in a system and what it needs to thrive. You leave the land better than you found it, or you've failed the whole point.That's still how I think about everything I do.

It means bringing wisdom earned from years of real work, not just certifications. I've spent my career inside healthcare — not consulting from the outside, but working in it. Running PACS migrations. Managing EMR go-lives. Leading imaging informatics programs across some of the largest and most complex health systems in North America.I directed PACS operations across a third of Northern California — over a million imaging studies a year, over 99.9% uptime. I was the technical manager over the two largest PACS implementations on the continent and delivered go-live training to 70+ hospitals. I led a multi-million dollar, multi-year technical program and drove a 55% reduction in patient-impacting issues in year one.I've been the person at the whiteboard when a go-live is two weeks out and something breaks. I've translated clinical reality for engineers and technical complexity for CMOs.
